Welcome to Blogtober 2020! Here is post two, Painting Pumpkins
Recently, I began my fall festivities. I attended my local Pumpkin Farm which has always been one of my favorite things to do when kicking off Fall (Fall for real — we all I know begin celebrating much earlier LOL).
At the conclusion of my trip to the Pumpkin Farm I had decided to grab two pumpkins. Normally, I don’t buy pumpkins until the second week in October as I love carving them and want to ensure they last until Halloween (and potentially a bit after). Regardless, I decided pumpkin painting was in my foreseeable future.
I brought them pumpkins home and my boyfriend and each took one. On my pumpkin I couldn’t truly decide what I wanted to do with it, so I did a little bit of everything. Now, my impatient self wasn’t going to put the base color on and then wait for it to dry completely; therefore, my pumpkin didn’t turn out the BEST. It was still a fun activity, though.
My all-time favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus, so I had to add the Sanderson Sisters to my pumpkin — well, their hair. I’m not talented enough to attempt painting Winnie, Sarah and Mary. I don’t think I did a terrible job but I’ll let you be the judge!!!
